On behalf of everyone at Grangehurst I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website.
We are a friendly and caring school with high expectations for all our pupils. Our children are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom. The staff endeavour to provide a calm and stimulating environment where good behaviour and mutual respect is modeled by everyone and where everyone is valued.
Every member of our school team works tirelessly towards raising standards in reading, writing and mathematics, whilst holding on to our core values. The impact of this shines out in children’s learning attitudes, the quality and volume of work produced and progress made in every year. Our achievements were recognised by OFSTED when they visited our school in January 2016. The inspectors judged the school overall to be GOOD with OUTSTANDING areas. These judgements were confirmed when the school was inspected again in November 2021.
