English
Over this half term we will be moving towards more formal English groups learning different traditional tales. We will be using these to begin to write our own stories.
We will continue to have discrete phonics lessons at other points in the day to allow the children to continue to learn new sounds needed for their reading and writing.
After these phonics sessions your child may bring home spellings to learn, please support your child to practise reading and spelling these words.
We will look at stories such as 'The Three Little Pigs', 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'Goldilocks and The Three Bears'.
